This is a sketch I created in the airplane while flying to Greece. I liked the idea, but never had the time to refine it and take it to color. I thought it was appropriate for Illustration Friday.

This is a coloring page I created for my daughter's class. You may click on it and print it. I'll be visiting her class for career day and speaking to the kids about the world of graphic design and illustration. How fun!
What fun! Her class will love you and your daughter will be so proud of her mama! Love your sketch and the coloring page. Wonderful work!

ReplyDeleteYour line work is AWESOME! What a great use of thick and thin and your gift of making something that is really difficult look easy. I hope you go ahead with the color on your flying piece that you created on the plane. The illustration is just so charming.... what a joy to be the little one flying off for the first time!.
