Playtime! Yes! I had some time to play in Photoshop today. I took the black and white IF post I made for ballon and colored in Photoshop. I played with the brushes to try to get some texture. If anyone knows of any good free brushes, please let me know!

The are some nice free brushes here. I used some on my last post of the snorkeling girl. Also, Photoshop has some good "natural media" brushes already, you just have to load them.
In the Brushes palette, click the small triangle at the top, and you should see a list at the bottom of all of the brush sets on your machine. Load each and play with them a bit.
Hope this helps! The color on this looks great BTW.
I thought I commented on your new website yesterday, but anyway, wanted to say that it looks awesome!
Wonderful in colour
Tom, I'm glad you like the new website. Thanks for the link and tip. I'll have to try those out!
I love the perspective here!!!! great line and so much fun. You've done a wonderful job on this. I wish I could be in Florida!!! It's so dog gone cold I don't know what to do with myself. Thanks for your comments and well wishes. Keep up the wonderful work Girly!
The color looks great! And the texture looks really natural. I'm going to check out those brushes too...
Edrian, This looks great! I love the colors you used. I've made my own brushes in Photoshop--and it is pretty easy. http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tutorial/Creating-Custom-Brushes/38985 (sorry don't know how to make this a link--too many things to learn...)
I'm also a fan of adding texture using the Texturizer (in filters) I scanned in watercolor paper and then load that in the "load Texture" feature.
I LOVE this! the colors are super lovely. I love your shading on the balloon!
Hi Edrian....it looks amazing in colour....wonderful work!!!
Hugs

Excellent-- perfect colors. Thanks for the update on the conference, too. Always helpful to hear others' insights.
Love the new blog design.
