IF: HIERARCHY

The Three Billy Goats Gruff walking in hierarchy.

This is another spread for the BGG book I am working on. I really feel more comfortable with this medium than I did a few weeks ago. I can consistently replicate textures and brushes digitally and I really think it feels very much like my traditional work. I am very pleased with the progress I am making. Now if I can only get my 7 year old epson 3000 stylus printer to print without any lines, then everything would be working as it should!

Have a great weekend!

Excellent! Beautiful textures. I really like how you've colored in the rock in the forefront corner. And that littlest billy goat leaping? Precious!

I tell you, I love the way your brain functions. This is so brilliant!!! I wish I had come up with this. Seriously, this is great and so very true to the story. LOVE IT!

Thank you guys!

I'm really enjoying this project. I like having to think about the big picture (book) and then thinking of the smaller items. I find it a bit weird that 6 months ago I could not even draw a straight line in Photoshop. I left it alone and then recently decided to give it a shot and it's been as if my brain just made a bunch of connections all of the sudden. I can paint with much more ease. I still draw it in pencil and scan it though.

Thanks for all your comments. :)

Those poor little guys just don't know the dangers ahead! I would love to see this book in the flesh, your billy goat illos are fantastic!

Oh and I totally understand about the old Epson issues. My Epson has taken a trip out to whoop whoop this week for a part to be replaced.

Love it,the composition and the colours

Looking great Edrian. My Epson is not very old and I have line issues too. One of the things I've read is to run the cleaning cycle mulitple times without exiting the cleaning utility and that the suction on the pump gets stronger with each cleaning cycle.
