This is the cover I have for the dummy. I posted the entire cover (front/back) and a close up of the front. There's not much in the way of point of view, but I thought it did a good job of introducing the goats. I decided to leave the troll out of the cover.
I'm still working on the last pages of the book. ANY feedback, good or bad, is really always welcomed.
I hope to take pictures during the assembly process and post them here in the coming weeks.

Great work,Love the cover is perfect
Not much help, I'm afraid, but many moons ago I did the illustrations for a book called 'The Vegetarian Troll', which was about a troll who was so upset at the way trolls were portrayed in 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' that he went vegetarian! I can never look at the original story in quite the same way!
Very nice. I wish I could see the cover more closely, especially the back illo. Great work.
Congrats! best wishes for the book! :)
oh I LOVE goats - yours are so sweet.
I look forward so seeing the process...
this looks great. I love the little spot on the back. i hope you have tons of success with this book
I like the different colors of the goat. Just maybe make the biggest goat more gruffer, tougher looking. Congrats for being a Children's book illustrator. I'm always a fan.

I think you have done a FABULOUS JOB!!!! It's wonderful. I can't wait to see the whole thing posted!! AWESOME Edrian!!!!
:))) love LOVE the single back illio, on the back cover. a great way to finish it off. hmmm...what do you think about a "closer shot" of the 3, on the front? they are such good and strong characters - would be neat to see a more defined and a tighter crop version of their expressions to each other. just a thought that popped in my head, as i was a-looking. and absolutely. leave the troll out - perfect idea! :))
i think it'd be more interesting if you put more textures on their fur...but it's lovely nonetheless. ^_^
I love the little goat on the back cover. Very clever. What if you went in closer and cropped into the goats more so there is more tension? Sort of like your close up shot but with more of the bushes in the corner? I can't believe you are almost finished! Great job my friend!
Thanks! I do think I'm going to try a close up. Great suggestion!
Hi I have an award for you on my blog
