Portfolio Display at Confernce

This is how I set up my portfolio display at the conference. They gave us 3' of space, but somehow we ended up with less. Nevertheless, the board really helped set the work apart from the rest. There were about 8 other illustrators showcasing their work. Some had boards, some did not. Some only displayed published books and had no leave-behinds. Some had dummy books on display.

What a prefect set up for the conference. You took so much care in putting everything little thing into place and you've done an excellent job on your display! I'm sure you are going to get calls if you haven't received a few already! I love to see illustrators being proactive and taking time to make a great impression. I'm so proud of you!!!! Sending you my very best!

You have a great set up, very professional! I am surprised, though, at how close you are to the next illustrator. Doesn't leave much "breathing" room.

Anywho, glad you got to go, and I hope it proves to be a fruitful start! :)

It looks great Edrian, specially because your art is so colorful!

And there is my favorite illo of yours.. Piggys birthday! I LOVE it :o)

And what is the small notebook I see on the corner? Is it for comments or a mailing list?

Good luck with this. You are out into the world now! This is exciting :o)

Thanks everyone!
The small book on the corner is like a guest book/ comments/mailing list. It was an idea my friend had and it was worth it because some people left me some nice comments.
